The following massage types are available:

Deep Tissue Massage: One of the best and most effective ways to treat muscle related pain is firm pressure massage. This is designed to focus on deep layers of muscle tissue, specifically the individual muscle fibres, in order to release muscular tension and toxins from the muscle. It is firm but gentle and can be quite intense. Deep Tissue Massage helps with:

  • Lower Back Pain & Sciatica;
  • Shoulder and Neck Pain;
  • Tension headaches and Migraines;
  • Sports Injury & Recovery;
  • Calf and Achilles Pain;
  • Posture Improvement;
  • Restoring overworked and stressed bodies; and
  • Tight, knotted, or strained muscles.

Sports Firm Massage: This is an “Advanced Deep Tissue Massage” designed to help athletes, before, during, and after training, treating sports related injuries and ailments, but expanding it to other non-athlete persons. It is useful to anyone who exercises to increase flexibility, prevent injuries, and help with healing after a sports injury. It is quite vigorous and not intended for relaxation. This usually incorporates remedial massage or deep tissue techniques. The massage works by stretching tight muscles, stimulating inactive muscles, and improving the condition of the soft tissue. The aim of sports firm massage is to reduce the stress and tension that can build up in the soft tissues of the body during exercise. This form of massage is used to:

  • increase endurance;
  • improve performance;
  • reduce the chance of injury; and
  • reduce recovery time after an injury.

Stretches: This can be requested to be included in Deep or Sport Massages and is highly recommended to increase your flexibility. We suggest at least 90 minutes booking.

Swedish Massage: This is the basic and classic form of Western massage which refers to a selection of techniques designed to specifically relax your muscles. It is one of the most requested method for people who wants to relax. The primary goal is to bring relaxation to the whole body. This technique is done by massaging the muscular tissues using massage strokes that are lengthy and gliding in the direction of the blood flow coming back and forth to the heart. It is also designed to:

  • relax the body;
  • increase muscle tone;
  • stimulate blood circulation;
  • remove toxins;
  • reduce blood pressure; and
  • increase flexibility as well as reducing muscular tension and stiffness.

Therapeutic Mixed Massage:  Each massage type has its own benefits, healing effects, but there is a mixture of the best techniques from different massage types, and it can be the optimal solution for your needs. Its main purpose is to focus on your needs, remove the rooted tension, eliminate general fatigue, relieve aches & pains and reduce mental stress as well as provide you with a customized massage experience. This specific mixed massage treatment employs a variety of high-quality massage techniques. The good thing is, it will be personalized uniquely and individually after a thorough consultation on your first session.

Anti-Stress Relax Massage: This is a relaxing massage which helps combat stress and encourage the body’s own natural healing. It helps relax the muscles and especially the nervous system as it triggers the production of endorphins. It is performed with slow and rhythmic strokes to the head, neck, back and the back of the legs.
This technique uses friction, gentle pressure, and vibrations over the body’s surface which stimulates the muscle tissues, gets rid of toxins, relaxes the joints, and increases the flow of oxygen and nutrients. Special anti-stress massage oils will be used to help remove all the tension in your body.

The technique relaxes the entire body, relieving physical and emotional tensions, and creates a therapeutic effect.

Indian Head Massage: This can be included in the Anti-Stress Relax Massage. It is a thousand-year-old technique designed to ease tension and strain in the shoulders, neck, scalp, and face. Some of its benefits are that it assists in the relief of headaches, migraines and eye strains; provides relief from anxiety and insomnia; and it is a wonderful experience.

Frozen Shoulder Therapy: This is a Niel-Asher Technique [NAT] which is a natural method of Frozen Shoulder Treatment that uses the body’s own healing mechanisms.

No drugs and no surgery needed as 95% frozen shoulder conditions can be treated with manual therapy and clinically proven to restore movement and reduce pain.
The technique is done by treating the complex shoulder using a specific and unique sequence of manipulations and pressure points to the shoulder joints and soft tissues. In essence, it can be thought of as inputs into the nervous system.
A frozen shoulder due to the brain’s response to inflammation around the long head of the biceps. It is still unknown, in some people, why the brain over-reacts to this inflammation by switching off groups of muscles and changing their dynamics.
Depending on how long you have had the problem, and which phase you are in, results can be seen in as few as 4 sessions (range 4 -13).

Anti-Cellulite Massage: This is a very effective vigorous technique which is used to break down cellulite deposits, stimulate blood flow and increase circulation. Cellulites is a term for the formation of lumps and dimples in the skin due to the different distributions of fat, muscle, and connective tissue, which can affect both men and women.

Body Brush & Scrub Massage: A deeply nourishing body brush & scrub to soften, smooth and invigorate the skin. It is done before a follow-up massage to improve absorption of the essential oils or as a standalone treatment.
This is originally a spa treatment which exfoliates the skin on your body leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, moisturized and soft. Full body exfoliation with warm stress or toxin relief oil which penetrates the oil deeper, relieving you of aching muscles & joints bringing more blood flow to the area whilst being exfoliated. The full body exfoliation will remove dead skin cells, improve circulation, aid in detoxifying, firming and toning. Dull, lifeless skin will be stimulated leaving you feeling smooth and conditioned. Its benefits in a glance are the following:

  •  Reduce cellulite
  •  Exfoliate dead cells
  •  Improve your immune system
  •  Increase circulation
  •  Detox your skin
  •  Unclogs your pours
  •  Lymphatic drainage

Massage as Therapy: Massage therapy targets issues that are muscular in nature. Muscle spasms and overworked areas of tension can benefit from massage as well as pulled or strained muscles. This is not just a pampering and luxury treatment but has legitimate medical properties effective in aiding in pain management and recovery.

Massages also affect the nervous system through the manipulation of soft tissue. The top layers of muscles benefit directly from applied massage because it encourages the free flow of fluids and energy. Soft tissue treatment helps correct misalignment of the spine but unlike chiropractors, massage therapists are not licensed to adjust the spine or other joints, nor can they prescribe medication. They can, however, suggest holistic and homoeopathic remedies in conjunction with massage therapy. There are many massage techniques used in healing including swedish, deep-tissue, cranial sacral therapy, and trigger point therapy.

One of the byproducts of excessive stress is a tightening of the muscles and an overall feeling of tension. It’s like your teeth are clenched all the time. Our bodies cannot handle stress appropriately without the removal of tension and no drug or artificial stimulant can help us to relax better than a natural professional massage therapy treatment. A good massage table is designed with relaxation in mind: you literally sink into comfort from the moment you climb aboard. The combination of the therapist’ skills, quiet music and perhaps aromatherapy all work together to help the body achieve a completely relaxed state. When high levels of stress are present this balance is disrupted, leading to feelings of depression and anxiety. The kneading and pressure on the muscles provided through massage therapy encourages the release of dopamine and thereby helps the body to manage stress better.

Massage therapy boasts benefits ranging from:

Boosts Immunity, Improves Skin Condition,  Increases Blood Flow, Relieve stress,  Relieve postoperative pain, Reduce anxiety, Manage low-back pain, Help fibromyalgia pain, Reduce muscle tension, Enhance exercise performance, Relieve tension headaches, Sleep better, Ease symptoms of depression, Improve cardiovascular health, Reduce pain of osteoarthritis, Decrease stress in cancer patients, Improve balance in older adults, Decrease rheumatoid arthritis pain, Temper effects of dementia, Promote relaxation, Lower blood pressure, Decrease symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Help chronic neck pain, Lower joint replacement pain, Increase range of motion, Decrease migraine frequency, Improve quality of life in hospice care, Reduce chemotherapy-related nausea,  and many more…

Deep Tissue or Sport Massage Therapy can include Neuromuscular Therapy i.e., pain relief:  Anyone who experienced a sort of trauma in their life whether it was a car accident, a fall, a major surgery or a severe daily stress needs some professional neck work. The neck remembers that trauma and stores the tension in trigger points which locks up the muscles in the neck, back, head, and arms. The whole body can be affected by this as the local stored tension can radiate to the different parts of your body. Just a few professional sessions can relax the trigger points as well as repair the tense muscles and promote long-term healing.
